Out of the San Felipe's in the area this one is not my favorite, but it's probably 3rd place. First off now they charge 10 cents per mint, while every other San Felipe still gives them out for free. What a rip off. Food is consistently good, but the quesadilla was a little over done today. The tortilla shouldn't fall apart into hard pieces as you're eating it. Chips were hot and crunchy, and San Felipe has the best cheese dip. Salsa had some heat this time, but it's ok even though I prefer it more mild. For some reason Mexican restaurants always have the best sweet tea, not sure what it is about them and their tea lol. You would definitely not expect that. Anyways it seemed like everyone else enjoyed their food, my quesadilla was just a little overdone. Service is always quick, the food comes out blazing fast. You shouldn't be waiting more than 10 minutes at any San Felipe in the area considering how fast they are. This San Felipe has a good atmosphere, although It's not as good as the one in the shopping center of hobby lobby in Southport. 4 stars here. Good job!

Food was great. Service was extraordinary. Moderately priced.I would strongly recommend for lunch or dinner.

One of our favorite local places- our family loves getting dinner here! The service is always fast, the servers are always friendly, and the food is always tasty. I normally get the vegetarian fajitas (love the mushrooms and spinach) and add steak. My love usually gets the chicken fajita quesadilla, which is massive and super filling. We both normally end up with leftovers, especially if we get queso to go with it. Great experience every time.

Every dish I've ordered was delicious! Pleasant waiters & waitresses. Just very difficult to order by phone because no one answers when they're busy. Margueritas need more alcohol.

Ten of us dined here the other night. I've been living in Leland for almost three years and it was my first visit here (same with DH). I never thought of trying it out, as it sits in strip plaza. I was quite surprised at how large the interior was. You just can't picture it from the outside. We were able to get a table despite it being crowded. It was quite noisy inside as the waiters busted their butts to wait on the customers. Our waitress, Alley, was so sweet and friendly. She was very patient taking care of all of us. After getting our orders in and drinks, the food came out quickly. We were surprised at how fast the food came out. I had the carnitas with rice and bean, and it came with tortillas. I almost ordered the skirt steak. I'll get that the next time. My plate was huge! Well, we all had a large amount of food. Plenty of leftovers for two more meals. The food was good although the pork was a little on the dry side. Some pieces were dry; other pieces were tender. The rice was flavorful and better than I've had at other Mexican restaurants. The house wine was fine. Beers too. Overall, good food, fun place, and great service.
